Middle School Summer ipads

It is a well-documented fact that many students experience a “summer loss” in reading and skills while they are on a hiatus from school.  We have given a lot of thought about how we can maintain the success we have had this year.  Therefore starting the week of August 5^th current 4^th, 5^th and 6^th graders will be able to get their ipads a month early.  Each ipad will have a new eSpark mission based on the student’s spring NWEA score.  In addition the summer reading assignment with the accompanying eBook will also be loaded on the ipad.  We are hopeful every student will avail themselves to this opportunity.  There is no requirement to come to school as we previously spoke about.  Just some productive, individualized work on the ipad!!
