Girl’s Volleyball show heart

One of my favorite sports to both watch and play is volleyball. Yesterday, the lady mustangs took on top seeded West Hempstead and gave them quite a scare.  They battled in every game losing 3-2. The stands were filled with students chanting MIN-E-O-LA and the playoff atmosphere was contagious.  My voice is still sore. The game had everything, big hitters in Christine Barry, Heather Gessner and Lacey Fater, Great setting by Krystie Kern and Elaina Kalantzopolous, Great serving, especially Heather Dolan and great passing by Ashley O’Neill and Libero Nicole Lockwood. I am sure Coach Kohl is excited about next year with a good number of underclassman returning.  Ladies thank you for a great afternoon of watching quality volleyball being played.
