Jackson SO at Barnes and Noble

This is the second year I joined the Jackson Student Organization at Barnes and Noble.  They set up a gift wrapping station to raise money fro needy families.  I tested their skills by asking them to wrap my car keys.  Haley Perlow and  Alyssa Tedesco were almost successful!  Kudos to Ms. Wojis and Mrs. Bernard for organizing the event.

  1. Yes, kudos to Mrs. Wojis, Ms. Bernard and Jackson Avenue Student Council. They not only worked very hard during the Barnes and Noble fundraising, but also during the dog tag sale which bears the Mineola Mustangs logo. But all this work turned worthwhile when you are able to contribute to the real reason for the Christmas Holiday – “giving to those in need”. On behalf of our Jackson families I would like to thank Student Council for their very generous donation of $1000! Let’s keep teaching our kids to think about others and keep this act of kindness alive.
