Crazy Train

If you missed String night on Tuesday you really missed a treat.  Mark Wood, founding member of the Trans Siberian Orchestra worked and preformed with our students as part of our artists in residence program. This wasn’t your garden variety classical music string night- it was Rock n Roll night!  Mr. Wood went as far as saying that Mineola was in his top 10 Nationwide for great music programs.  Check out this YouTube clip:

I couldn’t be more proud than to have my son on the stage at String Night. What amazing performances by all the students behind the extraordinary and energetic Mark Wood. It’s a must-see for everyone.

I have never attended String Night in the past, but after doing so this past Tueday night with my daughter I will certainly be there in the coming years. I am so impressed with the hard work and musical talent of the students in our district. They are deserving of the highest praise!
