A Scenario isn’t a Plan…
If at first the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.
- Albert Einstein
New ideas pass through three periods: 1) It can’t be done. 2) It probably can be done, but it’s not worth doing. 3) I knew it was a good idea all along!
- Arthur C. Clarke
When I presented a scenario on a possible reconfiguration it was just that- big idea that was plausible. It was not a detailed plan that dotted every i and crossed every t. Why? because it isn’t the plan. The community committee is currently working on the plan. When that is finalized, all of the details and minutia will be presented. I am confident that collectively we will create an exceptional school system.

Wow I am on the wrong side of every decision lately, I may develop a complex. I feel the voice of dissent is important in any democratic proccess and I like the free flow of ideas. I have no problem with censoring posts that contain personal attacks, but just because someone isn’t comfortable leaving their name on a publc forum doesn’t mean they can’t make positive contributions to a discussion.
I think what we all need to do is respect differing opinions if we agree with them or not. Debate is a healthy way to resolve differences and reach compromises.
