How’s the food?

I happened to be at Cross Street during lunch time last week.  The students were eating salad, wraps and vegetables!  SO do you notice a difference in the food this year or is it my imagination?

The primary students are learning and will catch on to the new menu. It’s always tough in the beginning. Enlarging the page to 11×14″ helps a great deal.

The food is much better. I’m not running to the deli anymore…Really!

I did notice a difference in the food options! The healthy choices are fantastic. I just wish the lunch ordering process didn’t take so much time away from valuable intsructional time. I am trying to think of a more effecient way to inform the kitchen of the students individual choices. As the decisions can be complicated for the primary students, I wonder if the parents can electronically order for their child from home. It would be a much “greener” process that would give the teachers back 10-15 minutes of instructional time.
