College Fairs
The High School often holds college fairs in the lobby. I think it is a great venue for our students to interact with admission personnel. We also have an annual overnight trip to visit colleges in the North East. This year students went to Pennsylvania, visiting- University of Pennsylvania, Villanova, Temple, Saint Joseph’s University, and the College of New Jersey

Thank you for your comments about the Mineola High School college fairs. Please be aware that the colleges come at two different times alternating each week. This way, students who cannot miss their classes during one week should be able to attend the following week. If you stop into the guidance office, we will give you a pass to attend during the last college fair on October 20th.
as a junior i feel like the college fairs are a fantastic way to expose us to all the wonderful colleges out there. the only problem is that they are held at the same time during the day, thus in turn prohibbiting some kids from being able to attend because of teachers who will not let their kids leave. for future fairs i would like to suggest that they are different times through out the day or after school.
