Budgeting 101

Last night the Board of Education hosted the first in a series of workshops about the budget.  The Board goal for this year is to “create a five year financial landscape that captures status quo and tax levy projections.  Those projections will then be articulated to the community in order to open a dialogue about the future of Mineola.”  I have attached the power point from last night. As several seniors have commented- I (we) should turn our attention to the budget…
