Band Home Show
Bad weather forced the annual Band home show indoors Saturday night, but that didn’t ruin the festivities at all. Congratulations to the all of the parent volunteers for making the night such a huge success. The band sounded fantastic, the Rockettes creativity continues to amaze me. Watch out Syracuse, Mineola is coming to bring home first place!

Anyone who has ever seen our band recognizes how great the band is. What people may not realize is how much pride its members and alumni have (Mineola’s Marching Band is a major reason for me becoming a music teacher). All of the band/guard members put in so much time and energy into that activity and it shows.
This has been an awesome year for the band, and it WILL pay off in Syracuse! Congrats everyone!
(Can’t wait to see more of the same work ethic in this year’s musical!!!)
wow its about time that someone say that we are one of the great programs in the district cause its true the guard was 22 in the country and the marching band placed third last year.so i guess all of our practice does pay off and we will find out just how much this weekend at STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in syracuse

Everyone stepped up and turned our Home Show into the event that everyone is used to in Mineola.
We have amazing students and amazing parents. The Marching Band/Guard continues to be one of the great programs that our District can be proud of!
