Go Green

No I am not referring to the Jets.  As part of a Board of Education goal this year we are looking for ways to educate our students on the benefits of “going Green”.  Cross street students are ahead of the curve.  Under the supervision of Maria Emersonn, Celeste McDonald and Maria Sloper, all grades compost (1st – 5th) but the 5th graders are in charge of the program. Last year they used the composted soil to plant a tree on Earth day and this year we will use it to plant something in the spring.  Keep up the good work!
