Hampton K-Kids Rock

I had a fantastic time today watching the Hampton K-Kids organize and prepare Thanksgiving food baskets for families.  Under the direction of Lois Haque and Maria Emerson the students advertised, collected and organized 17 baskets of holiday food for local families.  I joined the students for pizza as the volunteered their time to prepare the baskets.  I learned that Lizzy likes soggy bread and the boys drink Sproke.  We also developed some cool handshakes as we did our work.  Great Job!

Amelia had a great time too! She couldn’t wait to tell me all about
it when I arrived home from work that evening.
I think it’s wonderful that children are aware and involved in taking
part in less fortunate families in and around our community.

Amelia and Mike(husband) enjoyed your presence at the meeting, she told me all about the conversation you had with her and
lizzy because they don’t not eat cheese on their pizza…

Thanks for being a part of these important event,it meant alot to the
    kids.
    Happy Thanksgiving!!!
